3 Day Celebration

3 more days till I turn seventeen! Oh how times have flied too damn quickly. I am totally  psyched for this week. Yet it is the bloody week before the brutal exams.
Dear God pray for me.
Now let’s forget about the pressures of exams and focus a little more on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!

On the 22nd of March ‘Hunger Games’ come out! I was utterly in love with the three books. It was an absolute page turner. I’d tell myself to stop reading after the specific chapter I was on, but as soon as I finished the last sentence, I couldn’t help myself. I just wanted to find out more. If you haven’t read it now, I recommend you do. I want to see how they have transformed this magnificent fiction visually. Plus, the lovely Jennifer Lawrence is playing Katniss Everdeen, who I completely adore. She is funny, down to earth, an impressive actress, and of course beautiful! I love the fact that ‘Hunger Games’ comes right before my birthday. For me it is the perfect way to celebrate it, with some ‘Mexicrinkles’ from ‘Salsa’ and my two best friends. Fingers crossed that it turns out perfectly. I’m trying to have low expectations but unfortunately it is exceedingly high, due to the fact that I was obsessed with the books.

On the 23rd of March, I’m SEVENTEEN! No, I don’t want to grow up! But it’s inevitable.
Today, I will keep it simple. If you were close to me, you would know I sincerely love watching movies. Yes, I’m a film junky. And you guessed it, we’re watching another film. This time with all of my genuinely close friends! I seriously wouldn’t know what I would do with out them. Its pretty sad though what were watching, because of the fact that we are watching a film about a birthday party that us outcasts will probably never experience. We are viewing, ‘Project X’. After watching the commercial, I was hooked and needed to see it, especially with my friends. We then come home to a mouth watering dinner made by my lovely mother. Some people are invited with their money filled wallets, if ya know what I mean. So yeah, that’s my birthday.
MOVIES MOVIES MOVIES!

On the 24th of March, is another birthday party! And I’m probably more excited for this day, than my own birthday. I just love getting all glammed up! Wearing our newly bought outfits, trying to get on our high heels, laying on our make up, and styling our hair. I’m such a girl. And guess what, it’s only a seventh birthday. In our culture, a seventh birthday is like an eighteenth birthday. It is celebrated just like a debut. It is celebrating the next stage of your life. That’s what I love about my filipino culture! The parties are big and you get to meet up with family friends you haven’t seen in a while. Her theme for her birthday is ‘Hollywood’. There will be a red carpet with professional photography at a hotel. So yeah, it’s pretty glamorous. I also have been asked to prepare two videos for the birthday celebrant, which I’m pretty nervous about. But anyways, I can’t wait to dance and eat all the delectable cuisine.
